Athena Systems, provider of the Aura Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Compliance and Reporting platform for hedge-funds and family-offices, today announced that they are opening a new office in Austin, Texas to better meet the needs of the Western North American and South American hedge-fund and family-office community.
Plans to develop operations in Austin were initiated by a growing number of hedge-funds and family-offices located outside of New York, London and Hong Kong.
The new office, which includes sales, implementation and support, will be the company’s fourth office. It will provide services to existing hedge-fund and family-office centers such as Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and will also cover emerging locations such as Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Las Vegas and Vancouver.
Athena also plans to open a data center in the Austin area, to support its Software as a Service (SaaS) / Cloud delivery option for Athena Aura, later this year.
