Athena Systems, provider of the Aura and Spark Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Compliance and Reporting platforms for hedgefunds and familyoffices, today announced that they are opening a new office in Singapore to better meet the needs of the AsiaPacific hedgefund and familyoffice community.
Plans to develop operations in Singapore were initiated by a growing number of hedgefunds and familyoffices located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Tokyo; and because Athena recently released several product and features needed in AsiaPacific including: General ELocate and Short Sale requirements as well as specific SFC ShortSale Hong Kong (SSHK) support, comprehensive CFD support, Asian hosted cloud services/data repository and Singapore Monetary Authority (SMA) compliance.
